Thoughts from an Experienced Survivor is the story of a man who has been broken time and time again, to finally be rebuilt into the man I am today.
What will you find here?
You will find the serialized version of my memoir, which I am presenting here as a work in progress. Eventually, I will edit my memoir and then seek to publish it, but until that time, this is my story, in its rawest form. Some parts of it are not for the faint of heart.
Becoming Better is a section containing articles on self-improvement, mentoring, being mentored, parenting, goal setting, writing, podcasting, working remotely, and other related topics.
Politics for the Common Guy is a section of articles on politics as seen from a common perspective. This is considered neutral ground and all parties and ideals are discussed here. Come with an open mind and be ready to have a civil discussion with others on what is happening in today’s political circus.
Paranormal Musings is a section devoted to everything paranormal. Here you will find everything from cryptids to UFOs, and from ghost to demonic possession. Some articles will be funny, some scary. You never know what you will find here.
Random Thoughts is a catch-all section for me. Here you will find everything else I write about that doesn’t fit nicely into one of the categories above. Think of it as a release for a cluttered mind, getting all those thoughts out into the open.

I have been many things to many people in the past and here in the present. I’ve been in information technology for 24+ years and have worked on software and hardware, and was lucky enough to work with a team and have my name on a patent. I’m a writer and content creator, a part-time podcaster, and a full-time family guy. I’m known as Dad To 2, having two grown daughters whom I love dearly. I’ve been married to my wife for 22+ years and look forward to many more years together.
I’m a man of faith and have lived and practiced both as a Witch and Follower of Christ and continue to follow Him today. I have many skeletons in my past and to discover them, you need to read my memoir. You’ll find out how I overcame these skeletons in there as well. I’m a lover of animals, and our family has two dogs and two cats, all rescues, as well as nine chickens in our coop and run. Sort of like a miniature Noah’s Ark in the suburbs.
